WIT began in 2013 as a collaborative effort between Market Street Talent, Dr. Loretta Brady of St. Anselm College, and the NH Diversity Workforce Coalition. Recognizing the gender gap in the tech industry, the initiative was created to amplify women's voices and increase opportunities for growth and retention in the field.
Today, WIT is a biannual event designed to foster meaningful discussions and connections within the industry. In 2025, we celebrate 14 consecutive years of bringing together women in technology and their allies! We host virtual events in the spring and hybrid gatherings in the fall, offering an accessible space for professional networking, knowledge-sharing, and community building.
Our mission is to support and empower women in technology by providing free, engaging events where industry professionals can connect, share experiences, and navigate the unique challenges of the field. Through open conversations and collaborative learning, we aim to cultivate a stronger, more inclusive tech community.
