Team Highlight: MST's Community Involvement in 2025

At Market Street Talent, our employees are genuinely passionate about helping the community. Each year, our internal team members meet as a group to discuss non-profit organizations we are personally passionate about. We encourage participation in the discussion so everyone has the opportunity to share the causes they care about individually and to bring to the table community initiatives that mean the most to each of us. Finally, we vote as a group to decide which organization(s) to support in the upcoming year through Market Street Talent's Gives Back Program.

Gather was our elected non-profit organization to support in 2025. Gather provides nutritious food and prepared meals to those experiencing hunger on the Seacoast in NH and Maine through their pantry market, mobile markets, and innovative food access programs.  Gather serves more than 10,000 Seacoast residents each month and distributes over 1.7 million pounds of food each year. Market Street Talent employees are proud to have contributed 35 total volunteer hours this year, helping Gather in our local communities. At Gather's Crossroads Kitchen, we worked in staggered shifts: our first shift prepared produce by slicing, dicing, and peeling, while our second shift cooked and served, transforming the mass quantities of prepared ingredients into individually packaged, nutritious meals to nourish many hungry residents in need. We were also fortunate enough to volunteer with Gather's Mobile Market as well this year. We unpacked, sorted, and arranged an impressive spread of generous food donations. We helped local registered recipients move through an assembly line to choose produce, dry packaged goods, and baked goods to feed their families. Volunteers with Gather are truly appreciated, as evidenced by the number of heartfelt Thank Yous expressed at both the Crossroads Kitchen and the Mobile Market. We left each of our volunteer missions with a sense of pride, knowing our contributions have made a difference in our local communities.

Market Street Talent is proud to announce another important cause we will continue supporting for the upcoming year: The American Red Cross. We had the opportunity to help the American Red Cross this year with their Operation Holiday Cheer program. As a team, we collected and donated shelf-stable foods and toiletries for care packages sent to deployed service members. Care packages such as these provide the essentials to those deployed when they need it most. Red Cross volunteers and staff work to deliver vital services – from providing relief and support to those in crisis to helping individuals and families prepare to respond in emergencies.

Additionally, Market Street Talent has pledged continued support to the American Red Cross with our newly expanded program established to recognize and reward new clients and partnerships. We want to make a national impact with this new initiative, making a meaningful difference, both near and far. For every job role requisition opened through a new client partnership, MST will donate $100 to the American Red Cross. For every successful placement with a new client partnership, we'll donate an additional $500. We believe business success and community support go hand in hand, and this initiative reflects our values-driven approach and people-first staffing philosophy. MST's donation supports the American Red Cross's urgent mission needs, whether responding to a disaster, collecting lifesaving blood, teaching skills to save a life, or assisting military members and their families during emergencies. We are a firm committed to making every engagement count, for clients, candidates, and communities, and we plan to continue celebrating new business development with this rewarding program in the year to come.

Market Street Talent is proud to continue our MST Gives Back Program in the year to come and look forward to supporting and volunteering with both Gather and The American Red Cross in 2026.
