Get to Know Market Street Talent: Bridget Keaveney

Written by Market Street Talent | Feb 7, 2020 9:00:13 AM

As part of our “Get to Know Market Street Talent” series, we introduce you to a member of our team and give you a closer look at the people who drive the success of our company. This week, we’re excited to announce that our Operations team has gained a new member: MST’s first Media + Operations Admin, Bridget Keaveney!

Bridget came to us as an intern during her final semester at UNH to help us dive into a project around social media engagement. When the semester was over, we didn’t want to see her leave! Our social media has been in the hands of our HR Coordinator, Tori Leavitt, since 2017. As MST has grown, so has our need for a dedicated resource to handle all things media, and Bridget was the perfect person to step into this role.

We hope to add value to your feeds with industry news and knowledge, career search guidance, community updates, and an inside look at our company. Connect with us on your platform of choice: we’re on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Bridget has lots of great ideas, energy and social media skills – we couldn’t be happier to have her on our team!

What is your role at Market Street Talent?

I’m the Media & Operations Administrator – I’m responsible for creating and posting MST’s social media content, as well as providing operational support to the team.

How did you first learn about Market Street Talent?

I was initially hired at Market Street as the Social Media Engagement Intern back in September. I saw the job posting on LinkedIn and applied immediately!

Before working at Market Street Talent, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

I’ve been a counselor at a performing arts overnight camp for the past 6 or 7 years. Camp is my favorite place on earth, and favorite time of year – singing and dancing with a bunch of super talented kiddos, surrounded by all my best friends… it’s pretty darn special!

Tell us a little about yourself.

I am a recent graduate of UNH (woot woot!), have an unhealthy obsession with iced coffee and crab rangoons, and can definitely recite the entire musical “Hamilton” from start to finish. I also absolutely love to sing and perform – I did musical theatre from childhood through high school, and music directed an a cappella group in college.

Where is your hometown?

I’m from right here in Portsmouth, NH.

What do you like to do on your days off?

Around this time of year, I like to ski, or cozy up at home cooking and watching Netflix documentaries. But I also love to go see shows in the city, listen to live music, and spend time with my friends and family!

What book did you read last?

“The Secret History” by Donna Tartt

What is the most important thing you have learned in the last five years?

I’ve learned that if you work hard and surround yourself with the right people, you’ll be able to pick yourself back up when you fall.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Portsmouth?

Oof. That’s a hard one… Portsmouth is my favorite place on the planet. But I’d have to say eat. You can find me at The Green Elephant at least once a week.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I’d love to live and work in the city for at least a short portion of my life… ideally New York City or Boston. But who knows!

Wine or beer?

Wine

Coffee or tea?

Coffee

Motto or personal mantra?

Live authentically. 🙂

Welcome to MST, Bridget!
