Title: Resident Support Engineer

Our client is seeking a Resident Support Engineer who will support a very large and important customer.  The Senior Resident Support Engineer is responsible for providing post-sales support to customers.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

The Resident Support Engineer is responsible for providing pre- and post-sales support for customers, end users, re-sellers, and support partners.

These responsibilities include:

• Becoming embedded within the customer’s operational and design staff to be the Technical Subject Matter Expert
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical customer issues associated with equipment
• Handling and Resolving new customer cases via Support CRM System
• Recreating, tracking, and verifying software defects in the field or under lab conditions reported by customers
• Providing informal and/or formal training on products to the customer’s staff
• Providing feedback from customers to product management and engineering teams via appropriate systems
• Handling customer technical escalations
• Authoring technical knowledge-base articles for use by other technical support personnel and/or customers and partners

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years’ experience in technical support functions with strong fundamental understanding of telecom network and routing environments
• Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Solaris Operating System

Advanced Networking Skills Required:

This includes strong understanding of the protocols surrounding IP service provider networks. These skills should include:

• TCP/IP fundamentals
• IP subnetting and supernetting and hierarchical routing principles
• Routing protocol operation (OSPF, IS-IS, and BGP-4)
• Routing policies at BGP peering points
• VPNs and the associated tunneling technologies (L2TP, MPLS, etc.)
• Hands on configuration experience with Cisco and Juniper switches and routers preferred
• Understanding of TCP Protocols protected by the Solution – Web (HTTP, HTTPS), API (SOAP, XML, REST), Email (POP/POP3, SMTP, IMAP/IMAP4), Database (MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle) & Other (Telnet, SSH, FTP). Have a solid knowledge of these protocols, how they are used.
• Knowledge of and/or ability to learn up to intermediate level of python in order to be able to identify potential issues/bugs in source code for Development

Keys:

• Should have experience with: ISP level network, packet analysis, router/switch configuration/troubleshooting knowledge/experience.
• Advanced Linux knowledge and provide system administration, networking, mitigation configuration, and troubleshooting of complex device and reporting issues.
• Would like knowledge/experience with the following: BGP, SNMP, Flow, DNS, ISP level networking (peering etc.).  Packet analysis experience, familiar with TCP, UDP, TCP session handshake and similar protocols/related topics.
• The Resident Engineer role requires even more of the following: professionalism, excellent written/verbal communications skills (with emphasis on ability to communicate complex/technical information to a laymen audience) as well as outstanding presentation skills.

Title: Associate Mechanical Engineer
Location: Bedford, NH

Our client has an immediate need for an Associate Mechanical Engineer who has CAD design skills and experience designing plastic parts. This role will be a 6+ month contract, and must work on-site Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Support mechanical design engineering in product development of consumer products
• Support tolerance stack analyses, and design for manufacturability of plastic injection molded
• Troubleshoot errors encountered in the design iteration process and develop production-ready solutions
• Document findings in appropriate Engineering and Quality documents
• Release drawings via the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process

Required Skills:

• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical systems
• Proficient with 3D and 2D CAD in Creo (PTC, formerly Pro/Engineer)

Our client is looking for an HFC Designer for their Denver, CO location. This position will prepare and maintain detailed engineering and design drawing files and schematics using Computer Aided Design (CAD) or other spatial or GIS software platforms. Our client is looking to hire a Level 2 Technical Support Specialist to provide desk side field support for software, hardware, and network related issues.

Job Summary:

Collaboratively works with a team of experienced information technology professionals to provide extremely responsive and friendly customer service to the end user community.

  1. Takes ownership of customer issues from first contact assuring that the customer knows the person receiving their issue or request cares about them; further not letting the issue or request go until the customer has an answer, or until they are connected directly with the appropriate resource.
  2. Acts as an ally and mentor to all other members of the support team, being approachable, sharing, and friendly, rending whatever aid they can to assure that customer issues are being addressed in timely and precise manner.

Requirements:

• BA strongly preferred, or equivalent experience plus 3-4 years of technical support experience within a diverse user community.
• Industry recognized technical certifications a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and process development experience required.
• Experience in mentoring technicians and cooperative work-queue management required.
• Advanced level of knowledge required in troubleshooting a broad range of issues with Windows and Macintosh based hardware and software (including multiple OS), network connectivity issues, supporting enterprise applications and tools (client/server apps, desktop management software, etc).

Title: Data Integrity Specialist

Our client has an immediate need for a Data Integrity Specialist. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and independent team player with a strong understanding of Data Quality and Data Analysis, advanced skills in SQL and PL/SQL, knowledge of modern Web technologies, background in Database Management and Data Quality / Integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Important aspect of Data Integrity Specialist role is to analyze assay data and metadata for the correctness, completeness, integrity and high quality.
• Work to ensure that data flow properly across systems and databases, and is represented adequately in data reporting/visualization application so that it provides value to the scientific community.
• Conduct fact findings to identify specific data integrity/ consistency issues. Document findings in appropriate system (such as JIRA, Nebula Confluence, SharePoint and others) and provide detailed analysis of the issues identified- where problems occur and why. Collaborate with the other teams as appropriate toward specific issues resolution.
• Design and execute large-scale proactive data quality assessments for validate consistency between source systems and various data warehouses. Develop recommendations to address SAR Data Integrity issues and collaborate with data warehouse team to implement Data Integrity issues remediation.
• Development and maintenance of curation rules and workflows  to be integrated in the curation framework currently being developed by TMS to support various Scientific Data Curation activities such as issues with data propagation result typing, assays merging and splitting, assays penalization and other SAR data issues.
• Support scientific initiatives/projects/collaborations with the scientists and informaticians in developing complex queries, data analysis, and issues with SAR data propagation throughout research data workflows.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of systems, applications and databases such as Helios, Pharon, ARES and others and the assay data /metadata workflows between them.
• Bachelor degree in Technology or Computer Science or Bachelor degree on Biological Sciences.
• Certified Oracle Developer and/or Oracle Database administrator. Advanced skills in SQL and PL/SQL. Working knowledge in database tools for data access and analysis (Toad, SQL Navigator). Knowledge in NoSQL databases. Understanding AWS cloud technologies, products and solutions is desirable.
• Expertise in Linux operating system, VBOSS application server, Java and Java message brokers.
• Advanced Data analysis and Issue Troubleshooting skills.
• Hands on experience in QA, Data Integrity and development of automated testing/quality checks.
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical companies or biotech environment.

Title: SQL Server DBA
Location: Framingham, MA

Our client has an immediate need for a SQL Server Database Administrator. The DBA will focus on enhancing and maintaining SQL Server and MySQL Database Infrastructure, providing level 3 and level 4 support. The infrastructure consists of a variety of applications including PDI, KSS PriceNet, Retalix, and other applications written in-house. The candidate must have a solid understanding of relational database technology, operating systems and security, with particular focus on the SQL Server/Windows environments.
